Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year to all mouse instructors! It seems that on an hourly basis there are new technologies that help us "edutain" our students. For you online students, here's an important website: http://www.elearners.com/
For you instructors considering online teaching, check out this site first: http://www.teachertube.com

Over the winter break, I created a couple of videos for my online course. I used Camtasia Studio 5 to create the following tutorials.

In the future, I plan to use more video and audio in the blog. I also plan to use it to discuss some socioeconomic, cultural, religious and political news. In addition, I may also include some information about sports, exercising and personal money management as well as book reviews.

Two books I read over the break were best-sellers:

"The Nine" (about the Supreme Court) by Jeffrey Toobin. Check out this short book review:

"Legacy of Ashes" (about the CIA) by Tim Weiner

Both books were A++. Legacy is a little long, but a great history nonetheless.

Question: If anyone knows of any open-source video editing software, please let me know where I can find some.

Muchas gracias,
